MSCONFIG

 
 

 

To open msconfig, click "Start", then "Run" and type "msconfig", then press "Enter". The window shown below should open immediately. (If you are using Windows 2000, click here to download msconfig from my website.)

Then click on the "Startup" tab to see this window:

All the programs that are starting automatically will be listed here. The problem is, many of them are very difficult to identify.
